300 visitors ‘drop in’ since January 1st!
The new Greenfields Information Centre, based at the heart of the new Greenfields Project in St James Drive Bootle has attracted over 300 people in the first 3 weeks of 2009.
Displaying detailed proposals of the plans the centre has two full time members of staff based there to answer any questions or queries made by residents. One Vision Housing Customer Liaison Officer Helen Richards said: “Since opening the centre just before Christmas we have had hundreds of residents and members of the wider community visit us here to find out all about the Greenfields Project.
“Some people have initially been a little wary but once we explained how we plan to improve the area and how much we plan to invest here the vast majority of people have been very supportive indeed. Most visitors have been most impressed with the standard of kitchens and bathrooms they can expect as part of the renovations. We have full mock ups of both a kitchen and a bathroom at the centre which helps people get a real feel for how the completed rooms would look!”
